Biography

Darijo Šego, a University Specialist of Traffic, was born in Šibenik, where he completed his primary and secondary education. In 2005. he completed his graduate studies, and in 2013. postgraduate specialist studies at the Faculty of Traffic and Transport Sciences University of Zagreb. Since 2006., he has been employed at the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences, Traffic department. First as an external associate, and later as an assistant, lecturer, and senior lecturer.

Darijo Šego is the author of teaching materials for students, authorized scripts for courses "Transport Corridors and Merchandise Flows" (2016.) and "Infrastructure of Road Traffic" (2021.). He is the author and co-author of scientific and professional articles on Croatian and English language that have been published in journals and at conferences in the Republic of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Poland.

Darijo Šego has participated in the international programs ERASMUS and CEEPUS as a guest lecturer in the field of traffic and logistics at the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Transport, Department of Logistic and Industrial Transportation in Katowice (Poland), Goce Delcev University, Faculty of Tourism and Business Logistic in Štip/Skopje (Republic of North Macedonia), Slovak University of Agriculture, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering in Nitra (Slovakia), and Institute of Technology and Business, Faculty of Technology in České Budejovice (Czech Republic).

Since August 2019., he has been participating in the student sports association as president and vice president. Since December 2019., he has held the position of head of the Traffic department.
