Luka Olivari was born in 1988 in Šibenik. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb. From 2014 to 2016, he worked at IVANAL d.o.o. From 2015 to 2019, he occasionally held professional lectures in vocational subjects within the curriculum for Marine Engineering Technicians at POU Libar.
Since 2016, he has been employed as a teaching assistant at the Department of Transport of Šibenik University of Applied Sciences (VUŠ). In 2018, he was appointed Lecturer, and in 2022 Senior Lecturer. He is the author of several professional and scientific papers, as well as two peer-reviewed educational publications. He received the award for excellence in teaching for the academic year 2024/2025, and his teaching performance has consistently been highly rated in student evaluations.
