Zvonimir Klarin completed his master's degree in Computer Science in 2009 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Split (FESB). During his studies, he additionally completed the professional development programs CISCO Academy and Internet Applications Programmer PHP/MySQL. Since 2019, he has been a doctoral student in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at FESB Split.
He was employed at the Šibenik Univeresity of Applied Sciences from 2019 to 2023 as teaching assistant on courses such as Introduction to Computer Networks, Computer Networks, Introduction to Databases, Databases, Protection and Security of Information Systems, Operating Systems, Design and Analysis of Information Systems, and Professional Practice. From 2023, as a lecturer, he has been in charge of courses in Introduction to Computer Networks, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, and Protection and Security of Information Systems.
He has published several scientific papers at international conferences and in international Q1 journals. His current research interests include energy-efficient wireless and wired networks, optimization in telecommunications, and management and analysis of heterogeneous computer networks. He is a member of the technical professional organization IEEE.
He is a member of the organizing committee and the technical editor of the international scientific-professional conference Challenges of Today, which is held at the Šibenik Univeresity of Applied Sciences.
He is a recipient of the Excellence Award for teachers and associates at the Šibenik Univeresity of Applied Sciences in the category of excellence in scientific research work for the academic years 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023.
