Dear Colleagues,

It is my distinct honor and great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd International Scientific and Professional Assembly “Prosthetics, Orthotics, Robotics in Physiotherapy and Nursing Care”, which will take place on 9th October 2026 in Šibenik, organized by the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Ivanić-Grad and Effectus University of Applied Sciences.

Modern healthcare systems are undergoing a period of intensive transformation, marked by the rapid advancement of scientific knowledge and technological innovation. Fields such as neuroscience, advanced therapeutic interventions, prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation robotics are playing an increasingly significant role in improving treatment outcomes and enhancing patients’ quality of life. At the same time, the development of sports medicine and preventive approaches, along with the growing importance of health tourism, highlights the need for an integrated and strategically oriented approach within the healthcare system.

Special emphasis is placed on nursing as an indispensable component of contemporary healthcare, where education, clinical mentorship, and the application of evidence-based practice represent key determinants of professional development and the quality of healthcare services. In this context, interdisciplinary collaboration emerges as a fundamental prerequisite for an efficient, safe, and patient-centered healthcare system.

This conference provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and innovative ideas among professionals from various fields, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and fostering further development of both the profession and science. I am confident that the discussions and conclusions arising from this meeting will contribute to the advancement of clinical practice, education, and healthcare management.

We look forward to your valuable scientific and professional contributions.
