How to become an ERASMUS exchange student at Šibenik University of Applied Sciences? 

1. Check Inter-institutional agreement

Check if your university has a Inter-institutional agreement with Šibenik University of Applied Sciences and contact the International Relations Office at your home university for more information about the ERASMUS procedure. So far, the University has established bilateral agreements with numerous higher education and research institutions across Europe (see HERE).
 

2. Nomination

Erasmus students first need to be nominated by their home universities to the International Relations Office via this form. 
Deadlines for sending nominations for ERASMUS study:

April 1st- June1st for mobility in fall semester or whole academic year

September 20th - November 20th for mobility in spring semester

3. Online Learning Agreement

Once you have been nominated by your home university fill in the Online Learning Agreement here: https://www.learning-agreement.eu/user/login. After you have initiated your OLA, it needs to be approved by your home coordinator.
Exceptionally, if your university is not connected to Erasmus Without Paper (EWP), you can use a paper version of the Learning Agreement.

4. Acceptance letter

When your Learning Agreement is approved by all parties (student, home institution, host institution), you will receive your acceptance letter.

6. Upon arrival to Šibenik 
 

At the start of each winter or summer semester we provide incoming students orientation week. During this period, we assist you with enrollment and residence registration. We also organize a Welcome Day for incoming international students. During this event, you willreceive essential information about our University, living and studying in Šibenik, health insurance, residence regulations, and Croatian language course.

 

7. Before leaving Šibenik
  1. Make sure you are in regular contact with professors and that you pass all chosen courses 
  2. Get your Transcript of records
  3. Get your Certificate of stay 
  4. Close the bank account
  5. Return keys to the landlord / dormitory reception 
  6. Check if accommodation is fully paid
  7. Make sure, if you need to check out your stay at the police station
  8. Fill European Commission report. Within 30 days of return, students and staff must submit the Final Report (Erasmus+ Participant Survey) to the European Commission. Participant will receive an e-mail from EU Corporate Notification System.
