To familiarize students with the basic principles of ophthalmology, the most common eye diseases, methods of diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic diseases and the importance of medical care for ophthalmic patients.

1. describe the most significant eye problems that medical technicians have to deal with in assessing the health status of patients
2. list the ways of diagnosing eye pain and the basic principles of treatment
3. clarify the procedures and importance of medical care of patients with ophthalmological pain, including prevention of falls
