The aim of the course is to introduce students to all components of patient safety culture in healthcare institutions: identifying risks that threaten the safety of patients and healthcare workers and methods of their prevention.

1. explain the importance of continuous quality improvement of patient and healthcare staff safety in healthcare institutions
2. analyze possible risks that threaten patient safety in individual
3. implement risk prevention measures that threaten the safety of patients and healthcare professionals
4. conduct education for staff, patients and families of patients with the aim of promoting a culture of safety
