To introduce students to the issues of access to persons with disabilities and children with developmental disabilities in accordance with modern approaches. The course also aims to acquire knowledge, understanding and ways of approaching the specific needs of persons with disabilities and children with developmental disabilities with an emphasis on health promotion and the creation of health programs.

1. to clarify the terminology, international classification of persons with disabilities and children with developmental difficulties, forms of care for them and the national strategy with an emphasis on the health care sector
2. describe the techniques and specific interventions of multidisciplinary approach in dealing with persons with disabilities and children with difficulties
3. to identify the way, model, approach to persons with disabilities and children with developmental difficulties in accordance with their specific needs
